The practice of Yoga as a space for internal exploration
I wanted to write about this topic, since it seems fundamental to me to be able to give ourselves the opportunity to look deeply into our own body and the sensations that inhabit it. In the hustle and bustle of modern life, where constant demands and distractions can overwhelm us, finding a practice that allows us to stop and get in touch with our body and its sensations can be very helpful.
Yoga is presented as a deep path of internal exploration that goes beyond physical postures. Through mindfulness and concentration on breathing, we dive deep within ourselves, exploring deeper layers of our consciousness.
Breath as a bridge between body and mind
The connection between conscious breathing and movement in yoga practice is like a bridge between body and mind. By paying attention to the inhalation and exhalation, we immerse ourselves more deeply in the present moment. This focus on breathing acts as a key that unlocks doors to inner consciousness, allowing us to breathe and explore emotions, thoughts or situations that we have housed in our body naturally and unconsciously..
Internal exploration as a path to self-discovery
In internal exploration, we recognize how the tensions in our physical body can be a reflection of emotional blocks, and vice versa. As we advance in practice, these elements intertwine, revealing the complexity and interconnectedness of our existence.
And all this gives us the opportunity to cultivate authenticity with ourselves. Where we can observe ourselves without masks or pretensions, embracing our strengths and accepting our vulnerabilities. Recognizing the history of our experiences imprinted on our bodies and accepting their constant change.
By cultivating this space of inner listening, I allow myself to listen and observe the different sensations that arise and disappear in my body, helping me to assimilate the different experiences that I go through on a daily basis.
